Dr. Callahan is currently a Program Manager at DARPA's Defense Sciences Office (DSO). His research interests are in the area of new technology and novel drug development to address catastrophic health events. Dr. Callahan also provides active clinical consultation for highly dangerous pathogens and envenomation and is command physician for Rescue Medicine Airlift One’s international disaster medicine team.
As Senior Advisor to the Executive Director, Dr. Callahan provides consultation in disaster medicine, biodefense, and medical care in resource-constrained regions.
LARRY RONAN, MD
Dr. Ronan is currently an internist at Massachusetts General Hospital. As Senior Advisor to the Executive Director, Dr. Ronan provides consultation regarding global health and education initiatives, as well as offering guidance on care of the injured soldier or civilian in a war zone.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Ronan serves as a doctor for the Boston Red Sox and is director of the Thomas S. Durant Fellowship in Refugee Medicine.
