Joseph Bonventre, MD, PhD

Joseph Bonventre, MD, PhD received his MD and PhD (Biophysics) from Harvard University. Dr. Bonventre is the Robert H. Ebert Professor of Medicine and Health Sciences and Technology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Bonventre is director of the Renal Division at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Bonventre’s research involves investigating the mechanisms of cellular and tissue injury and repair, particularly as applied to ischemic injury to the kidney.
