Background:
Mr. Brauns is Senior Advisor for International Business Development with the CIMIT International Program. His work on the CIMIT-Russia Program includes business development, market analysis, strategic planning and sponsored programs development. Prior to joining the Massachusetts General Hospital and Partners in July, 2000, Mr. Brauns served as Co-Director of Grants and Contracts at the New England Medical Center in Boston, where he specialized in development and management of federal research contracts and complex grant proposals. Mr. Brauns also serves as Director of Strategic Marketing with BL Healthcare, Inc., a health care technology company in Massachusetts, as well as a consultant to a number of emerging life sciences companies. He holds an MBA from Suffolk University and a MA in Theological Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
