BACKGROUND

Susan Whitehead has worked with computer applications in healthcare throughout her career, primarily at Bolt Beranek and Newman (BBN) Inc. She also trained and mentored quality improvement teams at BBN and PictureTel. From 1997-2003, she managed research operations for the Digital/ Compaq/ Hewlett Packard East Coast innovative computing research lab.
