CIMIT Site Miners:
CIMIT Site Miners are a critical element in how the consortium identifies and connects clinical champions with scientists and technologies. Site Miners are well-established professionals on the staff or faculty of the CIMIT Member institutions (the "Site"). These individuals serve as a liaison between the Site and the CIMIT Consortium. Contact your institution's Site Miner.


Science Program Leaders:
Program Leaders are charged with cultivating investigators, nurturing and managing Program activities and sharing and disseminating the results. Contact our Program Leaders based on translational research and applications expertise.


Facilitation Leaders:
CIMIT Facilitation Leaders are a core staff of experts to coach, support, and network project leaders in ways that facilitate their ultimate success and help achieve real clinical impact. Facilitation is customized to the needs of each project and leader to connect teams with the necessary complementary set of skills, bring in appropriate industrial resources and technologies, fund pilot studies or prototype development, assist in protection of intellectual property, and/or help find additional follow-on funding from external sources. Directions to CIMIT Headquarters at 165 Cambridge Street | See a map

From the North:

• Rt. 93 South through Medford; do not get into the left-side commuter lane
• Take exit for Leverett Circle, Storrow Drive, and North Station.
• Once on ramp, follow signs to Storrow Drive.
• Stay in LEFT lane on Storrow Drive and take the first exit left: Government Center, MGH, and Cambridge.
• At the end of the exit ramp, continue straight, after stopping at a blinking traffic light, under the MBTA tracks to Charles Circle.
• At the traffic light at Charles Circle (MGH Red Line MTBA stop), travel half-way around following signage for Government Center and MGH, and travel up Cambridge St.
• Once through the second traffic light at Blossom St. (Holiday Inn on left), you may turn left into the Charles River Plaza Cambridge Street Garage or continue for a short distance further and turn left into the Charles River Plaza open air parking deck.

From the West:

• Take the Mass Pike into Boston and take exit 24B onto Rt.93 North and into the Tip O’Neil Jr. Tunnel
• Follow to exit for Storrow Drive and North Station. Stay in the right lane following signs for Storrow Drive.
• Once on Storrow Drive, keep in the LEFT lane and take the first exit: Government Center, MGH, and Cambridge.
• At the end of the exit ramp, continue straight, after stopping at a blinking traffic light, under the MBTA tracks to Charles Circle.
• At the traffic light at Charles Circle (MGH Red Line MTBA stop) travel half-way around following signage for Government Center and MGH, and travel up Cambridge St.

• 93 South to Charlestown/Sullivan Square, Exit 23.
• At end of ramp, stay left onto Route 99.
• Once on Route 99, stay to the right.
• At Bunker Hill Community College, take right and follow signs to Memorial Drive, Cambridge.
• Follow Memorial Drive into Cambridge, always staying in the right lane.
• At Mass. Ave. (just past the MIT Dome), take a right and go through three sets of traffic lights.
• Turn left on Landsdowne Street, next after the last set of lights (Albany Street) — Novartis Building is on that corner across from the Sunoco station.
• 65 Landsdowne is on the right side of the street. The front entrance of the building faces a small park, not the street. CIMIT Offices are on the 2nd Floor.
• Parking is available across the street from CIMIT at 80 Landsdowne Street.

From Points South:

• Take 93 North to Mass. Ave (exit is on left).
• As you come up ramp, get into far left lane.
• At traffic light: take a right onto Mass. Ave.
• Continue straight on Mass Ave through Boston and cross over the Charles River into Cambridge.
• Go through three sets of traffic lights.
• Turn left on Landsdowne Street, next after the last set of lights (Albany Street) — Novartis Building is on that corner across from the Sunoco station.
• 65 Landsdowne is on the right side of the street. The front entrance of the building faces a small park, not the street. CIMIT Offices are on the 2nd Floor.

From Points West:

• Massachusetts Pike east (I-90) to Allston/ Cambridge exit 18 (exit is on left).
• Follow signs to Cambridge. You will pass over the Charles River and Memorial Drive.
• Continue on River Street into Central Square.
• Follow Mass Ave to Landsdowne Street. (The Novartis building is on that corner across from the Sunoco station.)
• Turn right onto Landsdowne Street.
• 65 Landsdowne is on the right side of the street. The front entrance of the building faces a small park, not the street. CIMIT Offices are on the 2nd Floor.
• Parking is available across the street from CIMIT at 80 Landsdowne Street.

From Logan Airport:

• Take the Sumner Tunnel to exit airport, following signs to Storrow Drive West
• Take the Storrow Drive/Camridge exit

• At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Mass Ave.
• Continue straight on Mass Ave through Boston and cross over the Charles River into Cambridge.

Landsdowne Street Shuttle

A white Partners van marked "65 Landsdowne St" on the side door picks up passengers at CIMIT, MGH, MIT, and BWH. The shuttle leaves from all three locations M-F (except holidays), every half hour from 8am to 7pm (e.g., 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, etc.), with a brief stop at MIT on the way to each destination. These are the stop locations:

• MGH - Jackson Building entrance
• BWH - corner of Binney and Francis Streets
• MIT - 84 Mass Avenue (Julie Adams Stratton Bldg.)

From Boston Logan Airport:

• Take the Sumner Tunnel to exit airport, following signs to Storrow Drive West.

• At first set of lights take left onto North Grove Street.

From the North:

• Via I-93 or I-1 take the Storrow Drive exit and get in the left lane.
• Take the Government Center exit off Storrow Drive.
• Follow signs to Downtown and Government Center (Cambridge Street).
• At first set of lights take left onto North Grove Street.
• Parking garages on left or right.

From the West:

• Via the Massachusetts Turnpike take the Cambridge-Allston exit.
• Bear right after the toll booth.
• Make a right at first set of lights onto Storrow Drive.
• After approximately five (5) miles take the Government Center exit.
• Follow signs to Downtown and Government Center (Cambridge Street).
• At first set of lights take left onto North Grove Street.
• Parking garages are on on left or right.

From the South:

• Via I-93, take the Storrow Drive (West) exit.
• Take the Government Center exit off Storrow Drive.
• Follow signs to Downtown and Government Center (Cambridge Street).
• At first set of lights take left onto North Grove Street.
• Parking garages on left or right.

• Via I-93 North take the Storrow Drive exit.
• Take the Government Center exit off Storrow Drive.
• Follow signs to Downtown and Government Center (Cambridge Street).
• After third set of lights, get into left lane and look for the Holiday Inn on the left.
• Take a left into either parking garages at Charles River Plaza
  (under ground or in the plaza).

• From Red Line: Exit at Charles Street Stop. Follow Charles Street toward
  Massachusetts General Hospital to 185 Cambridge Street (on left),
  Charles River Plaza. Simches Research Center is located next door to CVS.
• From Green Line: Exit at Government Center. Follow Charles Street away from Government Center towards Massachusetts General Hospital to 185 Cambridge Street (on right), Charles River Plaza. Simches Research Center is located next door to CVS.
