The Global Health Initiative is a project by CIMIT and other organizations to respond to the needs of underserved patient populations in this country and around the world. CIMIT is using its collaborative power to bring doctors and engineers into the program to help serve the needs of pediatric populations, remote medical rescue teams, refugee medical clinics and women’s healthcare centers.
Clinical problem: Provide programs to help those in emerging nations to help themselves. Planners must identify the needs of communities and work with residents so they will be able to cope with medical issues on a long-term basis.
