Collaborating to Advance Healthcare

CIMIT’s Industry Liaison Program provides member companies with customized services to ensure successful collaboration, accelerate the technology development process, and more quickly impact patient care.

Powerful Partnerships: We have an impressive track record for organizing collaborations that are dynamic and fruitful. That’s because we search for those exceptional clinicians, scientists and engineers who are most interested in and committed to working with member companies.

Project Management: We advance the work of our member companies by initiating key meetings, hosting events to provide greater exposure, and expanding collaborations as projects evolve.

Accelerated Knowledge: We provide member companies with a window to the major issues and groundbreaking discoveries in healthcare today through the CIMIT Forum, newsletters, and special events throughout the year. Companies also gain access to a members-only website to search CIMIT’s library of past Forums.

Support Programs: To accelerate the application of technology to healthcare, as well as the commercialization process, we coordinate facilitation services for member companies, designed to help navigate through complex legal, technical and regulatory challenges.

Heightened Visibility: We communicate our member companies’ capabilities and interests throughout the CIMIT investigator community, and coordinate meetings, events, and introductions in an effort to encourage collaboration.

Grant Assistance: We support our small company members and the CIMIT investigator community by facilitating the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant process.
