Registration Open for CIMIT Innovation Congress 2009,
October 27-28
CIMIT has announced its program for the 2009 Innovation Congress - “Accelerating Healthcare Solutions through Technology.”
The event will be held Oct. 27-28 at the Back Bay Events Center, 180 Berkeley St., Boston, the same venue that hosted the 2008 conference that drew a record attendance.
This year CIMIT is creating an environment for in-depth peer discussion. Many of the top researchers and clinicians associated with CIMIT will make themselves available to meet and talk with attendees. The goal is to foster an interchange of ideas and scientific perspectives, offering the possibility that collaboration might ensue from such informal discussions.
The Conference Program offers day-long focused tracks in three critical healthcare areas including:
Transforming Patient Care through IT:
Caring for the Injured Soldier:
Introducing New Technologies into Clinical Care:
“The Innovation Congress offers a great opportunity to meet people, learn about new technologies and discuss ideas to improve medicine,” said John Parrish, MD, executive director of CIMIT. “Each Congress in the past few years has exceeded the attendance of the previous year, and this year’s program is certain to appeal all who are concerned about better healthcare. We expect strong representation from industry, government, academic medicine, the military and patients, too. ”
