IMIT Announces New Member to Industry Liaison Program

7/9/02 - CIMIT is delighted to welcome IDEO as the newest member of CIMIT's Industry Liaison Program!

IDEO offers innovation and design services across all phases of development, from the strategic evaluation of technologies and product plans, to concept generation and development, through to implementation and manufacturing. They have contributed to the development of many well-known innovations, including the first mouse for Apple and the world's first laptop computer. Currently, nearly half of their work is healthcare-related. They have experience in diagnostic instruments, critical device interfaces, biotech instrumentation, research engines, medical devices, imaging systems, drug-delivery systems, disposables, information appliances, home health, consumer health and healthcare environments.

IDEO's multidisciplinary design and development teams include specialists in human factors research; business strategy; industrial and interaction design; environments design; mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineering; and design validation.
IDEO looks forward to participating in CIMIT programs, lending design and process expertise.
