Hendrickson named Communications Manager

CIMIT has named Dyke C. Hendrickson as its Communications Manager.

Hendrickson is a former editor and writer for Mass High Tech, a weekly Boston newspaper and website known as the “journal of New England technology.” He worked there for 10 years, and for the past five wrote about medical devices, academic research and the health-care industry. Hendrickson was a writer/editor for the Portland Press Herald, the New Orleans Times-Picayune and the Boston Herald before joining Mass High Tech. He was also a biomedical commentator on NECN-TV.

“We are pleased to be adding to our communications staff,” said Dr. John Parrish, director of CIMIT. “We have many important projects under way, and want to make them known to both the medical community and the general population.”

Hendrickson said, “I have written about many of the doctors and researchers involved in CIMIT projects, and was impressed by their success in bringing medical innovation to patient care. “Now I am looking forward to working with the organization on a full-time basis.”
