BACKGROUND

Dr. Borenstein has a PhD in Physics and more than 20 years of experience in microsystems technology and biomedical devices. His current work is focused on the application of Microsystems technologies toward pathogen detection, drug delivery, and cell-based devices and systems. He is Director of the Biomedical Engineering Center and a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory.
