CIMIT's ILP offers member companies a single point of access to the broad CIMIT network.  Across our eleven consortium institutions, we search for those exceptional clinicians, scientists and engineers who are most interested in and committed to working with member companies.  We provide expert guidance in navigating the corporate research and licensing offices within our consortium, and we craft powerful partnerships among multiple member companies.  The ILP works to simplify and accelerate the process of finding the right clinical or technical expert - and we have an impressive track record for organizing collaborations that are dynamic and fruitful.

We provide member companies with a window to the major issues and groundbreaking discoveries in healthcare today through the weekly CIMIT Forum, newsletters, and special events throughout the year.  Member companies have access to CIMIT-funded abstracts as well as the rich library of CIMIT’s past Forums.  Membership also includes one complimentary registration for CIMIT's Annual Innovation Congress and Exploratorium, a networking bonanza where the future of healthcare technology comes to life.

Beyond the benefits of Basic Membership, member companies seeking to accelerate the application of their technology to healthcare, as well as the commercialization process, often require specific and more intensive facilitation support from CIMIT.  To accommodate these member needs, the ILP offers customized project support.  Services can include organizing qualified and powerful focus groups; providing expert product and market assessments; offering unique opportunities to perform product and process validation in highly instrumented clinical innovation suites; coordinating multi-company collaborative teams; and identifying and facilitating funding opportunities, including Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants.  In all, CIMIT's ILP is designed to help member companies navigate through the complex clinical, legal, technical, and regulatory challenges inherent in healthcare innovation.
