Competing Solutions Characterization

A characterization of the relative strengths and weaknesses of the current solutions to the “job” your solution is designed to address as compared to how your envisioned solution will perform.
It is important to understand the performance of competing solutions – which includes work-arounds, etc. – so you can assess the relative strengths and weakness of each and assess how your proposed solution must operate to be an improvement.
Create a table that lists the key features/performance of the 2-4 solutions that appear most competitive to yours and talk with Stakeholders to develop a profile of the perceived strengths and weaknesses of each solution. Based on. The expected performance of these products as compared to your proposed solution, determine its relative strength and weakness.
