Lesson 7: Network to leverage the right ecosystem.

HealthTech companies that are more likely to survive and thrive operate as part of a healthcare innovation ecosystem. One needs to look no further than Boston, Silicon Valley, or the Golden Triangle to understand that while success can happen anywhere, being part of an ecosystem has tremendous benefits. However, simply being part of an ecosystem is not sufficient. No matter where they are, successful entrepreneurs engage with and take full advantage of the ecosystem in which they operate. They actively network to find the best talent, service providers, KOLs, partners, and funders. Successful serial entrepreneurs “give” as well as “take”, spending time helping others succeed which contributes to the overall health of the ecosystem.
